As a woman, and thus often silenced, I could not choose another book than this, which so vehemently criticizes the silence imposed on a society. In particular, the “Poem with a Closed Mouth” caught my attention because, as a photographer, I do not speak words, I speak images. I write with light and shout in black and white to give voice to women of all colors, races and creeds.
